Project: Madera County Courthouse
As a “Delegated Design,” this project provided the opportunity to expand our partnership with a generational metal stud framing contractor here in the Central Valley. Tasked with design and detailing of all exterior and interior wall framing of this four-story building, the project was accomplished with close attention to extensive detailing of framing systems to support a vast array of complex architectural configurations and finishes. Supporting up to 2” thick exterior granite façade, seismic design, performance and stability of all exterior walls and architectural features was a critical focus of design & detailing normally governed by wind load criteria.
